Easy black forest cake recipe!



Easy egg-less black forest cake recipe using microwave ! :)


 Here is what you'll need.

For the chocolate sponge cake

1 1/2 cups yogurt
1/2 cup milk
1/2 cup oil
1 1/2 cups sugar(granulated sugar)
2tsp vanilla essence
2 1/2 cups all purpose flour (maida)
1/2 cup cocoa powder
2tsp baking powder
1tsp baking soda
1/2 tsp salt

For the icing
300ml whipping cream
(I used rich's whipping cream)

















some tinned cherries
chocolate sauce(optional)
and grated chocolate for decoration

Lets get started! :)

Chocolate sponge

In a large bowl combine yogurt,milk,oil,sugar, and essence and beat till u get a smooth and shiny solution.

Sift maida, cocoa powder,baking powder,baking soda, and salt together.

Add this flour mixture in the yogurt solution a little at a time stirring gently, form a smooth batter.

Grease a large microwave proof dish (7 or 8 inches)
 and pour the batter in it.

Microwave it on high for 6 minutes.

Topping

Use an electrical beater and beat the whipping cream in a deep bowl for 10 to 15 minutes, or till the cream forms soft peaks. keep the bowl on a larger bowl filled with ice while beating.

Assembling

After the cake is cooled, carefully cut it into 3 layers.

Apply the sugar and water solution on the layers.

Grind some cherries, and mix some of the whipped cream in it, apply this mix on the bottom layer.

Put the second layer.

Spread some chocolate sauce on it, followed by some whipped  cream.

Put the final layer on, now cover the whole cake by the remaining whipped cream.

Use the grated chocolate and remaining cherries for decoration!

The cake is ready  :)
